Smelly Cheese and Fancy Crackers

Holly jolly! Glitter and gold! Sparkle and lights!

I’ll be in Skokie tomorrow for a little holiday fun, talking books!

If you aren’t within a sleigh ride’s distance, please consider being a fairy godpatron this season with an online order. Because everyone wants a book in their stocking!! Of course!

And chocolates. Of course! And new fuzzy socks…
I’d appreciate some smelly cheese and fancy crackers in my stocking. Is that weird?

Merry, MERRY!

  1. Happy Christmas Season! A quick – and perhaps unfair – question for you: Of all of your works, which would you recommend to a new reader? I’ve a friend whom I’d love to send one of your tomes, but I have no idea as to where I should start. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    • Merry, Merry My Friend!! I hope it is a healthy and happy holiday season for you! Thank you for this consideration. How much I appreciate it! And yes, an unfair question seeing as I have a special place in my heart for each of my tales. However – I’m always proud to recommend my novel Veleno. It’s the type of book that keeps you turning the page trying to figure out all of the mysteries. And it’s the type of book I’m going to spend a lot more time writing moving forward. My newest, Still, coming very soon, is also in this somewhat dark and mysterious style. Veleno is also historical fiction, or at least my good attempt at it. And history, which I know you will agree, is fascinating.

Now, if a fairy tale full of true love might better suit this reader – my novella Beauty Sleeping is just a treat! Or if this reader might prefer a short, adventurous escape, Dragons At Dawn. Yet if you think they’d like the spiritual with a journey, Ancient is just that. Lastly, Maid of Honour, though never as sought after as my fairies, unicorns, or mermaids, has such heart.

Thank you again ~ Here’s wishing you the very best this season and the spring semester to come!
